About Sourcing Agent Asia

Sourcing Agent Asia explains how sourcing agents in China work and what they charge for, so that a buyer can compare quotes on the same footing. It has a cost estimator, city sections built on official lists, plain descriptions of 1688 and Alibaba.com, and a page of official Canton Fair dates.

The site does not act as an agent, does not take orders and does not publish prices for any company's services.

Operated by the Arrivau team.

Sourcing Agent Asia is an information site. It is not a sourcing agent, and it is not affiliated with Alibaba Group, 1688.com, Alibaba.com, the Canton Fair or any Chinese government body. Official notices and your own contracts govern.

Data and sources

City sections: the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's lists of SME industrial clusters (2022 to 2025) and seven Ministry of Commerce public notices on foreign-trade bases (2011 to 2023). Canton Fair page: the organiser's website. English names of places, industries and themes are our translations and are marked as such. The platform pages describe the marketplaces in general terms and send you to the platforms' own pages for rules and fees.
